honestly though this audio issue is the most confusing thing in the world to me. It's connecting to my bluetooth headphones and recognising it as a bluetooth audio device - but NOT recognising it as an audio device under the Playback devices or outputting any sound into them.

Well that's new.

Honestly the longer I push the lifespan of my 6 year old PC the more I'm convinced I have an undead monster that runs off sheer willpower.

Guess I'll try fix it without a reset.

I've been having serious issues with my PC drivers.
I backed up everything important to my work on an external and am doing a hard reset.

I'm not looking forward to having to sit down and set all my programs back up. I had limited external space and had to pick and choose.

It's 100% a driver issue and not the headphones, anyway, since they work fine with my mobile.

I used a bluetooth adapter to make them work for my PC, but it seems to be playing up.

I had wired ones broke ages back and it was a lot cheaper to use my existing bluetooth ones rather then buy new.

My bluetooth headphones have stopped showing up under Playback and I've been trying to fix it most of yesterday and all day today so far.

Until i've got functioning headphones, i can't really stream with speakers on. So i'm on hiatus again!
