The Shutdown Is Over. For Many SNAP Recipients, the Scars Remain.

This is a harrowing picture of the psychological impacts of food insecurity & hunger. Itโ€™s shameful that the SNAP cuts made millions of Americans feel like this.

NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

This Democrat Proves You Can Be Principled, Effectiveโ€”and Popular Zohran Mamdani has pointed to Boston Mayor Michelle Wu as a model. There are many good reasons why.

In one of the debates in New York mayor's race, Mamdani (and Lander) both praised Boston Mayor Michelle Wu. She has been one of the most passionate voices defending cities and urban life as Trump trashes them. And she's stayed popular in way Brandon Johnson has not. newrepublic.com/article/1997...
