Early and accurate diagnosis of coronary artery disease is critical for improved patient outcomes. @asnc.bsky.social, @eanm.org, ACNM, and SNMMI have developed new guidelines for 18F-flurpiridaz PET myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) and blood flow quantitation.

FAPI expression screening can help identify patients who are most likely to benefit from this novel therapy in the future.

Though the results are promising, this is a small sample, and further studies are needed to evaluate patient response on a larger scale.

Patients also experienced significant relief from symptoms such as abdominal pain and severe fatigue. There were also no serious side effects from the treatment.

This is the first time such a strong and deep response has been seen in advanced SFT patients.

All 3 patients experienced tumor shrinkage or disease stabilization. The novel radiation approach showed significant success, achieving a near-complete response and significantly reducing cancer activity.

Patients received 4 cycles of the novel radioligand 90Y-FAP-46, and the treatment response was evaluated with 18F-FDG and 68Ga-FAPI-46 PET/CT.

Study participants were 3 patients with SFTs who had already attempted multiple standard therapies without success. All of them had extremely high levels of FAP protein, which was confirmed with advanced FAPI-46 PET imaging.

SFTs express high amounts of fibroblast activation protein (FAP) on the surface of the tumor cells and surrounding fibroblasts. This study sought to deliver radiation therapy directly to the FAP target with the novel radioligand 90Y-FAP-46.

The solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a rare soft tissue tumor. While most are benign, 15-20% are classified as malignant, and benign tumors have the potential to transform into malignant tumors. Malignant disease has few treatment options and poor outcomes.

These results position CD24 and HER2 as good candidates for subsequent imaging experiments, and as molecular targets in endometrial cancer.

PET imaging these targets can help clinicians identify patients who could respond to targeted therapeutics.

The immunoPET tracers exhibit significantly different behavior:
89Zr-DFO-ATG-031 --> CD24 provided the highest tumor uptake & tumor-to-background contrast.
89Zr-DFO-trastuzumab --> HER2 produced moderate but promising results.
89Zr-DFO-AR9.6 --> MUC16 yielded substandard images.

The study evaluated 3 antigens as radiotheranostic targets in endometrial cancer cell lines, healthy uterine and endometrial cell lines, and patient-derived endometrial cancer tissues:

Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecologic malignancy in the world. But despite a rising number of both diagnoses and mortality rates, it is an extremely understudied disease. Treatment in early stages is typically a hysterectomy.
