All the Filipinos agree that 6 typhoons in 2 months is a lot more than usual - this is what #climatechange looks like.

(and so they know where we are if they need to evacuate us - no one's talking about evacuating, and I feel safe here)

This one #TyphoonPepito will hit us pretty directly, so
#PeaceCorpsPhilippines has us #volunteers gathered at various hotels and boarding houses to wait out the storm, a pretty run of the mill thing for PC here.

l've been in the #philippines for 2 months now, and we've had 6 typhoons. Some low-level, some with severe damage and deaths, although none have affected Mania much to date... until today.
