Here I go watching camping gear videos and have zero ability to go camping.

While this year was a tad busy to get ready for a big mountain race, I spent some looking at events for next year. Alas, I felt compelled to cross off anything down south. Sticking to Canadian events for the time being.

Proving to be a good day. Got some good news for contracting work and some random guy thanked me for flattening my cardboard boxes before putting them in the recycling bin.

Siiigh.

I’d like to thank whatever technological chain of events that led to getting automated reminder texts for appointments I 100% forgot about.

I’m in that phase of my house move where I should be doing normal work stuff but get constantly distracted by the vast amount of decorating that needs to get done in the new place.

Cons! I miss them.

Unpacking after moving exposes a few truths. Such as having a history of misplacing a particular thing and immediately buying a replacement.

Car in for maintenance will take a surprising amount of time. Walked over to movie theatre to catch whatever is playing. Nice.

Though my parents attempted to raise me to be a decent and caring individual, I will still fish the chocolate chips out of any trail mix I encounter with zero guilt.
