There were some super rich techbros that invested in Trump, including some I used to work for. I suspect there is no group of people more capable of manipulating social media via AI and adjusting algorithms than this group of people.

I want to say they're getting what they voted for, but... there's no reason people would vote against their own best interests unless they were manipulated, and millions of people have been manipulated:
