I do art shows with pretty niche work that doesn’t really make much money; only a small number of people connect with it. But honestly, I don’t make art for mass appeal or the money (although money is required to keep going). I do it because I love the conversations, the energy, the connection.

I love the pose and expression. Would you and the photographer give me permission to make a watercolor painting based on this photo?
