IT WAS THE BEST RESULTS EVER. NEVER BETTER. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION IN THIS MATTER. π

28.10.2025 18:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is a worry if the constitution in the US is changed to again allow a person to be more than a two term President. However, if this happens might Obama run against him?

Is this term 'transformational' defined?
26.10.2025 21:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0They will have had to work incredibly hard to secure this. Perhaps more so than a school that gets to the soon to be required 90% pass but serves the most affluent families. Line in the sand metrics can be too blunt! Let's be more nuanced with accountability please!

Nobody will deny getting pupils to be able to decode, encode and confidently manipulate phonemes is vital to early reading skills and sets them up well for later curriculum success, but please let's not demonise the school who achieves 80% and educates children from overwhelmingly low income area.
16.10.2025 22:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I cashed out a few days ago and am happy with my profit thanks.
16.10.2025 19:37 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I agree with most of this, but the role is quite specific and it would be odd if it was given to a DH or AH and IMO it's too much for those in a governance role. So it falls to the HT, which I suspect it will, on most occasions, or someone in a MAT leadership team?

Jamie Dimon's correction started?
10.10.2025 20:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A challenging read. If we are to fulfil the transition to an AI powerhouse set out this week so clearly by the UK PM and US President then we need to focus on this. Our secondary has some of the best rates of success in maths with its disadvantaged pupils.

IMO, any feedback to a pupil simply should aim to achieve at least one of these - clarification, motivation or sophistication. I think you are spot on, even if your feedback achieve this but the recipient does nothing with it (potentially repeatedly) at the time then it is wasted. Great thread.

Sorry, balance being strategic vs. operational?
11.09.2025 17:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Genuine question. How well do you balance on evening operational or strategic?
11.09.2025 17:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This still feels like a bid to engage in self-policing but trying to dress it up as some form of independent check on quality. As a person who works in a MAT, we are now very proactive about the benefits of proper external review of our different strands of work. Why is Ofsted so reluctant to do so?
06.09.2025 07:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Let's make no bones about it, living in Russia or China (with its We Chat app) is a surveillance nightmare when it comes to the personal freedoms we enjoy. Let's be open about why autocracy and dictators are such a threat to the way we live.

What about the small nuclear reactors that Rolls Royce want to produce? Are they as expensive relatively speaking?
29.08.2025 08:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0So true. My water billed doubled overnight and most of it was not increased use but hidden and huge additional cost increases. Their representative on the phone didn't want to linger on these when I phoned them asking them to be reasonable.
25.08.2025 16:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Spineless EU leaders if this is the outcome (leaving US in two days without being berated by Trump) they achieve. Trump is an apologist for a ruthless Russian dictator. Should be military and economic force that brings Putin to the table. Not this pandering to his demands!
18.08.2025 11:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We shouldn't forget Trump has much more leverage over Zelensky and seems to be afraid of what the Russians have on him.
17.08.2025 07:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0When Zelensky says he can't agree to Russia's terms for a peace deal, Trump can say Russia is for peace but not Ukraine, reversing the recent 'call for a ceasefire' position. This is what Russia wants as they get to carry on with the war whilst all the pressure from the US then falls on Zelensky!
17.08.2025 07:36 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0If we are going to make this ONE planet a safer, more collegiate and sustainable place for our grandchildren to live in, then this sort of language in newspapers and the media helps no one.

03.08.2025 16:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0With trade so globalised you don't need to be an economist to understand that any price increases in the manufacturing chain wherever in the world will be felt in more than one domestic market.I don't know if Trump understands this or not and, if he does, perhaps simply doesn't care who it affects.
