It doesn’t work for me either but I have communicated that to my loved ones. I’ve said “I don’t want to be seen as the strong friend. I just want to be a friend. No expectations.”

I wouldn’t say it’s silly because in a way, that’s how people put forth the effort to be there for you. So, yes, please check in on your strong friends. Being strong can also be exhausting.

Right and then sometimes “I’m just chilling.” or “I’m just existing.” isn’t enough. People think something else has to be wrong and it’s like, girl how can I explain that me currently existing IS WHAT’S WRONG.

“Depressly girly” is funny asf but I’ve noticed that people really don’t know what it looks like lol. Contrary to popular belief! We are not lazy and we do not cry all the time!

I am unable to dedicate myself to tasks so I tend to fall behind, communicating is exhausting so I fall off socially, 9/10 I’d rather be sleeping, I have difficulty concentrating so I always need an escape, etc.

Simply existing can be so much for me.
