I agree - the thing that made me stay and become a citizen (originally on 2yr visa) in the 1st place is that because of its vastness there was a greater chance of finding my people. The various communities I’ve found are kind, funny, thoughtful. But the things being done in our name are disgusting

I’m so ashamed to be an American citizen right now. So far away from when I was naturalized after years of slog and cost, I chose to be American, I was so unbelievably proud (and I’ve been here 16 years so I knew it faults as well strengths). Absolutely disgusted in the destruction and deaths.

Thank you. I have a similar sized knitted teddy bear that I’ve had over over 50 years and I also know how much my kids liked little things, especially Polly Pocket, so if the kids have had to get out quick and maybe not able to take much, these are pocket pals that I hope will help a little.

All the yarn is given to me from fellow crocheters and knitters when they do projects and get to the last little bits that they don’t know what to do with - and any bits that are too short to use in a teddy, I use to stuff them. The fact that there’s no waste also makes me happy.
