I am in Spokane and feeling spicey so here is a hot take: There is no such thing as an AI artist.

It's fun, it's clever, and it's just the right amount of new and comfortable. It is a tiny bit more brutal than I expected, so anticipate a level of violence on par with Full Metal Alchemist. I am enjoying it!

The influx of people to BlueSky is huge! I've tried to find the folks I've followed on X & Threads b4 but met with limited success. This week, I found dozens! Anyone who follows ttrpgs, gaming generally, Star Trek, or great artists, take a look at my follow list & you can probably populate your own.

They're a little bit "dated" now that the Clone Wars TV show has tackled a lot of the same territory, but the Republic Commando series from Karen Traviss is a great read. (Disclaimer: I haven't read either of the two titles you mentioned, so I can't tell you if these are better!)
