Nah, I think I will keep himβ¦
05.03.2026 01:31 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0LOL! Iβd have to move my husband out to make the space for it, and I donβt think that is an option.
05.03.2026 00:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0love a Samurai!
05.03.2026 00:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Umβ¦.there are a few more rolls of film on the way.
04.03.2026 21:37 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Refrigerator door with film in the top two shelves and condiments on the bottom shelf.
When the #film starts to take over the fridge, what do you do? I tossed all the expired condiments and made MORE room for film!
04.03.2026 21:24 β π 31 π 1 π¬ 6 π 0Iβm down. I need to shoot some of this film that is taking over the refrigerator!
04.03.2026 19:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Given that my students had zero experience with film cameras, that was exactly the sort of camera they needed for the project β easy to use, hard to break.
04.03.2026 18:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Darnit..I shared the unedited version.
04.03.2026 18:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I bought dozens of those craptastic B&H point-and-shoots for my students to use in a project last fall. They actually managed to get some wonderful photos out of them on Ultramax film. This is one of the images that won the photo contest.
04.03.2026 18:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I tend to like contrasty images, so I will give this a try.
04.03.2026 16:35 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Just bought my first rolls of the stuff, so a party would be a good excuse to shoot them!
04.03.2026 15:14 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Did AI write this question? LOL
04.03.2026 06:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yes, this professor, while well-intentioned (he was trying to come up with a homegrown alternative to the very flawed commercial AI detectors), is counting on his application to be accurate and to not hallucinate when it claims to have βreadβ student work.
03.03.2026 14:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I sat in an AI workgroup meeting yesterday where one of my colleagues demonstrated a program he wrote with AI that will help him review student work before he grades it. I was unnerved by this for all sorts of reasons.
03.03.2026 13:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Does the professor acknowledge what they are doing, or is it just obvious?
03.03.2026 13:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I love this monthβs theme, especially since they gave me a camera. It makes me hopeful for spring.
03.03.2026 13:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Maybe it is! After all, I would think aliens would have cloaking abilities allowing them to blend into the environment ;)
03.03.2026 13:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My Finch avatar, Fluffles, dressed in pink and green with a camera around her neck and her micropet by her side.
I use a daily self-care app called #Finch, and this month, one of the virtual rewards for completing tasks is a little #camera! Itβs digital, but I wonβt fault them too much for that.

Iβve not even done black and white darkroom printing yet! Iβd like to eventually take a class in that, too.
03.03.2026 00:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The workshop will have us producing a contact sheet and one 8x10 print. Hopefully I have something worth printing on these undeveloped rolls I have sitting around.
03.03.2026 00:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve signed up for a color darkroom printing class at my local lab. Once I have taken a class there, I will be allowed to rent their darkrooms by the hour and make prints if I wish. Itβs in a few weeks, and before then I need to get some color film developed to take with me to the workshop. Excited!
03.03.2026 00:03 β π 32 π 0 π¬ 5 π 0And thanks, by the way.
02.03.2026 16:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think Iβm just more of a 100/200 ISO kinda person, especially since I prefer to shoot in daylight.
02.03.2026 16:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That sound was so distinctive! Like the rattling of bonesβ¦
02.03.2026 16:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This was an accident, by the way. I donβt know how it happened.
02.03.2026 16:32 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Black and white double exposure with a street lamp over a view of the front of a condo building with snow on the ground.
Ran my first roll of #Ilford HP5+ through the #Pentax 17. I had a mishap during developing and had to swap tanks after Iβd already added developer, so most images have some underexposed bits at the bottom of the frame. That said, I got a few interesting shots. This double exposure is my favorite.
