He tries not to make any sudden movements. While he knows Elodie is no longer the fresh cadet he crossed paths all those years ago, he knew better than to test a soldiers' trigger disapline.

"Let's hope you have the conviction to finish me off time, Orange Flash." Was he mocking her? Perhaps it was a poor attempt of goading her? "I'm sorry," Elodie raises an eyebrow, "but have we met before?" Gaius sighs, "I suppose the years haven't been kind to me."

"Five years ago..." realizing he's being too vague, "The Battle of Prae." A jolt of memories flash through her mind.

"The Black Wolf!?" The image of Gaius from five years ago flashes before her. He is wearing a Garlean styled mask, the look signature to all Legatus of the Empire. "Unfortunately." Gaius' comment snaps her back to the present. The once feared sword of the empire was now a broken man....
