OK, this was driving me nuts. Ever since I updated my MacOS to Sequoia, I kept accidentally fullscreening windows when I dragged them and I couldn't figure out why it was happening. Today, I finally found the setting that did it and turned it off:

This is a hell of a way to learn that I’m just an AI in a simulation.

I just realized again that the outlook calendar alert sound is the first three notes of "Yub Nub" and now I cannot ever unhear it.

My car has a touchscreen, but it also has a spinny knob and a few buttons down by the shifter, and there's NOTHING I can do on that touchscreen that cannot be done with the other controls. In fact, the touchscreen is disabled if you're moving more than a few mph. I hate using the screen for input.

I just figured out a pretty good life hack for myself- instead of optimistically buying produce that I sincerely hope to use before it goes bad, I can save time and cleanup by just putting five or ten dollars directly into the trash.

I saw some other conjecture online about how seeing all the Meta products go down on the day that sixteen states have elections is highly sus. A failed fix is far more likely than a cyberattack, but I'm very curious to hear what they'll say after it's all cleared up.
