Definitely seems like they destroyed the country on purpose.

Labour may suddenly have found a voice to blame Brexit for the economy. But they actually have to do something about it. Their avoidance of the issues such as Russian influence show they may want to make excuses but actual action they're found wanting which is becoming a bit of a theme.

Taming corporations is the key issue of our times To appease corporations, people may raze mountains, divert rivers, clear forests, cover countryside in tarmac and shower subsidies upon them, but they have no loyalty to any place, people or product.

The East India Company has come home.

Whether it is water, energy or other sectors corporations rule the roost, exploiting people, workers and the environment.

Political parties funded by corporations obey.

Can't build a good society and democracy without curbing corporate power.

Old people getting a discount rather than addressing the rip off that is energy prices to help the entire nation from business to young people & the retired is why this country is stagnant. Why are politicians so blind to helping put money in the pockets of all of us to boost spending in the economy

Energy firm profits tracker Researchers have tracked the declared energy firm profits of the 20 organisations the End Fuel Poverty Coalition is most asked to comment on.

Since 2020 the UK's 20 biggest energy companies made operating profit of Β£514,038,259,000.

Profiteering pushes millions into poverty.

Hikes govt's energy bill, pushes up taxes.

It makes steel, shipbuilding, engineering and other energy intensive industries difficult.

My level of disappointment with labour policy decisions for the uk continues to reach new heights. All our Bill's that have continue to rise in some respects will do for them irrespective of what happens in ukraine & his leadership on that.

Baffling that peace can be negotiated without one of the actual countries at war at the table. In reality it's a slice and dice of the pie.

It's amazing the mess politically this country is. Labour are as bad as the tories on many things -in denial of dumb shit like brexit. Supporting SEZs. Meanwhile the media promote reform. Predictably this will end quite badly. Mainly for the average britain.

To be fair Musk isnt wrong about Farage stepping down as it's been a while now to do what hes done numerous times - leave, started a new party collecting more donations from gullible rightwingers for his political ponzi schemes πŸ˜‚

Some people in recent days have alleged a β€˜cover-up’ over the grooming & rape of hundreds of young girls in predominantly northern UK towns, leading to calls for a β€˜national’ public inquiry into child sexual exploitation

Watched #boxing last night. Allen should of won against Fisher in my view, was close but knockdown was difference. Fury/Usyk had it closer than judges but Usyk won. Itauma continues to be my favourite new HW boxer. Looking forward to what he does in 2025.

I have to laugh at my bank constantly sending messages warning of crypto scams. Compared to my savings account, the small amount of money I have put into crypto has outperformed keeping it in a savings bank account easily.

The Underworld Podcast Listen to The Underworld Podcast on Podcast Addict. Underworld exposes the secret world of transnational criminal networks that have flourished since there were banks to bust, drugs to smuggle, and scams to run. Journalists Danny Gold and Sean Williams bring their experience reporting on dangerous people and organizations to take listeners on a global tour of mobsters, warlords and crooks - from Brooklyn to Beijing, from the streets to the boardrooms - and everywhere in between. Underworld is a show about heroes, villains, and the barely visible mafias that affect all our lives, whether we know it or not.

Nothing to see here, just Kemi Badenoch admitting that ISDS is built into all post-Brexit CPTPP deals, meaning countries can sue the UK Govt for infringements on their right to allow a supranational body to regulate and restrict sovereign decisions of the UK.

Baffling why labour thinking carrying on with austerity, more SEZs & the mess that is Brexit is good policy. Water nationalisation an obvious popular move ignored. It seems an incredible own goal as many things needed to fix Britain will take more than 5yrs & he'll be lucky if he gets that.
