I forgot what actually was the prompt for this day. But here's Montblanc, now with half of her face, tripping. Why she was carrying vials with a tray, don't ask hahah. By the time I realized the lack of logic, the art was already finished ( ≧ᗜ≦). #pixelart #OC

The story here is that Montblanc just obliterated a Dullahan and now she's teasing the Dullahan's head hahaha.

Btw, if you notice a day missing that's probably because I skipped that day of the daily pixel art challenge.

Pixel Daily Prompt 2023 - Day 9: Helmet

For this one, I went back to just drawing 3/4 of Montblanc since I was still bad at drawing faces then. I reasoned it as a "style" not to include the face, but honestly it was just skill issue on my part hahah (ᵕ—ᴗ—).

The story here is Montblanc visited the local smithy and pulled a prank on the dwarf blacksmith (๑˃́ꇴ˂̀๑).

So for this one, I attempted to draw the top half of a full-body model. And as you can see, it's quite bad hahah. Not to mention the background ( ≧ᗜ≦). But still I was happy with this as it signaled my start of actually studying anatomy.

Pixel Daily Prompt 2023 - Day 3: Hourglass

For this piece, I was starting to learn how to make proper curves. Funnily enough, even though I started pixel art way back 2020, it was only around this time that I started using Aseprite's Ellipse tool ( ≧ᗜ≦).

It was around this time that I decided to incorporate the prompt into a comp rather it being the sole focus. A bit extra I know, but I thought that was good practice at the time hahah (ᵕ—ᴗ—).

Day 2 of the Daily Prompt Challenge 2023: Honey Dipper

I made two iterations of this prompt, both including a slime of some kind. The first is a regular slime, but I wasn't satisfied with it. So next, I made a slime version of the Bongo Cat just coz hahah. In any case, have a good day~.

The prompt was a skull, if I remember correct hahah. But I went for one with a voodoo-esque aesthetic.

This was the first time I tried modifying Aseprite's Blend Mode and Opacity, not knowing that this would be precedent to what I consider to be one of my main arsenal today as a pixel artist hahah.

Back in May 2023 (yep, I was drawing daily haha), Pixel Art Bakery hosted a Pixel Daily Prompt challenge where we create pixel art based on a daily theme. This next series features my entries, starting with this one: a skull necklace! Sort of, haha (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵).

Aaand that short cape went with Montblanc hahah. If you're wondering about the hairstyle. It was around this time of May 2023 that I decided the final version of Montblanc's hairstyle, removing the straight hair and keeping the pigtails. This has been her hairstyle since (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶).
