I told my husband that since he knows me better than anyone, he needs to speak up if I seem odd or fall into any of the symptoms the Dr listed. He’s now stressed that he’s being trapped into calling me crazy 😅

He did, but I’m also open to other advice 🥰

After my appointment I texted my mom asking if she knew of any family members who had mental illnesses. Instead of just saying no, she went on a tirade about how I’m being gaslit by my Dr and that nothing is wrong with me and that anxiety and bi polar “aren’t even real”.
I didn’t even respond. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I told him that my family is part of the ultra conservative “mental illness is all in your head” crowd and if they did they’ve never been diagnosed or medicated.
He started me on lexapro with a close watch as if it’s bipolar, lexapro is a no go but we can’t jump straight into rx for bipolar. 🧵….

So at my Dr appointment, we talked about my mental health and he took me through some questionnaires. This is the FIRST time in my LIFE I’ve actually said most of what I said out loud. On my questionnaires I “scored” highly likely in both Anxiety and Bi Polar. 🧵….

I grew up in a family that called me “sensitive” because they think mental illnesses and conditions are “all in your head”.
Tomorrow I’m finally going to talk to my dr about my paranoia, anxiety and what I think might be ADHD.
I hope I don’t talk myself out of bringing it up.

Me four days ago on TikTok: "STOP SPECULATING YOU ASSHOLES. YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HELICOPTER FLYING."

Guy in a business meeting with me today: "I just wanted to say, I used to fly Blackhawk helicopters..."

My 7 year old has severe sleep apnea that has not shown any improvements with a CPAP and now we are told the best route is going to be tonsil and adnoidectomy... With this being a non emergent surgery, they require it to be paid in full the day of. I feel so awful that I literally cannot afford it.

I live in a state where like everywhere you turn ppl are trumpets but most of them are actually really quiet because they are embarrassed to say their hateful feelings out loud.. But my boss is not one of the quiet ones lol

I guess I should add to this. I have made $18/hr + small amt of commissions for the 2 years I have worked here. I will not be offered a raise because he believes I should just work harder to bring up commissions.. I do more customer service than I do sales and the CS takes up a lot of my time..

Is it a bad thing that I am looking to move on from the small business I work for because my boss is a vocal conservative/trump supporter? I can't exactly explain my discomfort.
I mean I could probably make a little more and actually get benefits if it leave..

One of my favorite things is when someone calls me a radical left lunatic.

I was having a conversation in discord with a gaming friend about our current state of politics. Well my husband overheard and told me “that shit is so annoying, you’ve made politics your whole personality”.
I had nothing nice to say so instead I’m gonna cry a little and sleep on the couch tonight.

Haven't seen this on the Skyline. It's important to know how people are responding to Musk and the fascist regime in the US and expressing their hatred for nazis.

They all had something to say about illegals killing American citizens and none of them could tell me the rate at which American born commit murders vs immigrants and they all just again went on about communism and I’m so confused
