Several tech watchdog groups condemned Meta’s decision to effectively end its fact-checking program, warning of the potential for a surge in disinformation that could lead to more conspiracy theories.

It’s hard to be a parent of school aged kids without Facebook. At least some PTA organizing occurs only on Facebook. And some extracurricular organizations only post notifications on Facebook.
