Sad news about Ray Brooks. What a superb actor he was. I thought he was excellent in everything he did. Big Deal was smashing tele. And he did a great album too.

10.08.2025 14:11 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0August always feels a slightly melancholic time of year in the allotment. Everything is speeding up to reach harvest, as if its time is running out (which it is).
Anyway, I'm pleased with the Krynoid plants this year.
Thank you! If it helps my email is bruce.nicholson@dwasonline.co.uk
05.08.2025 06:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Morning Andrew - these are wonderful. I was wondering if it would be possible to include these set pictures (and your commentary) to accompany an article on Mary Ridge/Terminus in the next Doctor Who Appreciation Society Annual, which covers the Peter Davison era. I'm the editor on the Annual.
05.08.2025 06:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Emergency Third Rail Power Trip by The Rain Parade would be the one for me. I know there are 1000s I've never even heard [of], but this for me endures.
03.08.2025 08:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm so excited to see that The Disintegration Loops is being re-released. The prices below are real bargains for a seminal piece of work. It does not have the dvd performance of dlp that is on the original, but still well worth getting....

Congratulations! It is an excellent listen. Well deserved.
27.07.2025 18:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I enjoyed reading this. Met him a couple of times - once in an antique shop where we stood and talked for about 45 minutes. Very, very nice man. I think The World is just superb - should have number 1 for a year.

I don't think they've been the same side for a while. Big game on Wednesday.

Could I recommend Skysail by him. Its very good and I think better than this one
02.07.2025 20:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I thought Brilliant was very, very good - it had no right to be as good as it was. But I don't go back to it very often. I think that's just because they have better albums.
Saw them live at the time and they were exceptional.
Looking forward very much to this.
27.06.2025 11:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0For clarity, the work on the Annual is typesetting and page layout from supplied content. That content will be supplied in stages as it becomes available from the end of June, with the final handover at the end of the summer.

16.06.2025 10:50 β π 6 π 7 π¬ 1 π 041 years ago today, I trundled along to the record shop to buy this incredible album.

41 years ago tonight, with a bunch of daffodils in my back pocket, I trundled along to see The Smiths at the Market Hall in Carlisle. Terrible recording, but happy memories.

The Omega Factor
The Doombolt Chase
Survivors
The Nightmare Man
Chimera
Bugs
Paradox
American series - I'd love to see The Gemini Man again.
Sorry, I don't know it. Looks interesting though
08.06.2025 10:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I am selling these two records. Both are first presses and are a decent VG+ state.
They have an interesting history which explains why they probably have never been played.
Before they go to the dreaded ebay or discogs, if anyone is interested let me know.
May not be cheap though...
This is a great record. Legend of a wheelman is my favourite.
07.06.2025 13:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That's crap on a colossal level. How easy/difficult would it be for Daniel and other affected authors to get their rights back? Presumably breach of contract would make it easier, but it would mean foregoing any chance of getting the royalty (even if that is remote)?
04.06.2025 19:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0What Boundless have done is just dreadful. Really awful.
I've wanted to buy Paradox Paradox for a while - so money actually gets to Daniel for it, is it best to wait until he gets his rights back? Ie not buy the Unbound book?
