I think with a need at nickel and temporarily at safety, if you can find a safety who can play deep and in the slot, or if you’re considering Branch in the slot, safety could make sense

3 safety sets would require a slight shift in how they use the secondary, but they’ve done it before.

I’m not entirely sure about that part of the money movement because I haven’t read much on that topic.

There may be some sort of escrow like that, I’m just not as tuned in because that impacts ownership more than the team/roster — which is why I’ve spent more time on the salary cap side.
