i feel so nervous about doing dumbbell exercises in gyms bc im catastrophizing that im going to break my back or someone’s going to tell me im one bad rep away from breaking my back it’s exhausting

i always start w any machine i can sit down in (after warm up walk) so lately thats leg press/extension/curl i didnt really intend this to be my routine but in retrospect i do not like doing anything standing at the gym

i’d recommend trying a quick pace walk or smth next time u do strength! i think it’s good for recovery too. maybe like 20-30 mins of walking or 10 mins of jogging/stairmaster could help

yesss in my experience cardio before takes all of my energy and i can’t do anything after, i sometimes do a warm up walk but it’s usually like 2.5-3mph for 5 mins bc that’s enough to like stretch my limbs without stress
