I love an obscure RPG. Popular things are fine, but they tend to be safe. If you're a voracious fan of RPGs, you have to dig deep into the obscure to find the weird and unique experiences worth highlighting.

Well that sucks.

Part 1 of the comic. The stoat (LeStoat) and marten (Martenelli) are wandering the snowy wasteland. The marten is still a wizard. Stoat: Questing has left me weary. I need to rest. Marten Wizard: There's an inn up ahead. Wait here while I go check with the innkeep. Panel 2: Marten Wizard: (Off screen) Ok you can come talk to the innkeep.

Part 2: The stoat approaches the "inn." It's just a tree stump. The innkeep looks suspiciously like the same marten but now dressed as an innkeep with whiskers combed into a handlebar mustache. Stoat: Erm... hi. Marten Innkeep: Hello, weary traveler. I suppose you're looking for a comfy bed. Wait here. I'll go prepare our comfiest, coziest, sexiest bed.

Part 3 of the comic: The marten innkeep calls to the stoat from off screen. "Ok, the bed is ready. Come on in." The stoat sees the bed. It's a big furry brown lump that looks familiar. The stoat flops onto the "bed." Stoat: "Ah, yes! This is the comfiest bed I've ever flopped on!"

Part 4 of comic: The stoat is curled up happily on the "bed." The bed (marten): *sniff* That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me.

Stoat Quest episode 9-ish.

Dumas' FATHER was born to a French count and an enslaved African women in Haiti. The Père was then brought to France, was educated, served in the military, etc.

"The Black Count" is a fantastic book about him.

His son is the author Alexander Dumas, and he based Count of Monte Cristo on his Dad.🇭🇹

Three panel comic. Panel 1: gym setting. One guy sees another guy across the gym with huge muscles. He remarks, “whoa! That dude is yolked!” Panel 2: a girl working out next to him says, “ugh, why do guys even want to get that big?” Panel 3: the extremely jacked guy is walking away with a slight smile. He is imagining himself dapping up a group of huge gorillas who are all happy and smiling, accepting him as one of their own.

So excited! I've got friends who don't want difficulty, so NG being easier may not be too bad of a thing. As a vet tho- hope the difficulty of the base game doesn't become the main discourse- especially since they're usually known for expansive NG+ runs. Nothing comes close to combat in Nioh.

Not sure if I'll discuss it in a video, but I just wanted to say that Nioh 3 is great. It's up there as one of the best the souls-like genre has to offer.

Also I know it looks intimidating, but it honestly isn't that difficult once you understand how shit works. Borders on easy.

It's so easy to just block and ignore, but for some reason, everyone wants to fight it out over inner nature of one single poster. Him chasing ICE around? Rad. Some protesters getting uneasy with him being so comfortable filming them? Also valid. Everyone can stop being so deeply online about this.

I'll be real, pro-stancil, anti-stancil, I'm just tired of hearing his name at this point. There's so many important things going on, I cannot care if one dude is or isn't in a signal group.

Genuinely curious and asking for a friend who is making a game, what type of indie game genre appeals to you? Like if you saw it on steam you'd immediately click it.

I like dungeon crawlers and roguelikes. Things where I get to make teams, explore, and learn. I skew a bit towards the more classical kinds of these which are more niche, but that just makes cool examples of those stand out to me more.

Takechiyo Nioh3 stares up at the big glowing red evil eye in the sky as it just kind of menacingly pulsates in the distance. You're pretty sure it's not supposed to look like that. It probably isn't normal. Is it fine? What if it's fine? You really want to ask a second opinion about the big eye in the sky.

Don't get how people don't like les Claypool, all his stuff is so weird I can't help but appreciate it.
