I just started playing it, and I shelved it after the first two levels.
It just feels off. The combat feels slow, the lack of glorly kills is just weird, Mick Gordon is sorely missed, and the throwing shield just makes me wish I still had the flamethrower from Eternal.
I tried to "akshually" my way out of this but bump it.

Crazy enough, you should look into EVO in Las Vegas. The main focus is on fighting games and the tournament, but the artist alley is absolutely stacked at that event. You don't need to have fanart from fighting games to do well at that con.

There's a lot of talk about how "it's inevitable" and "everyone's using it" in regards to gAI and I think it's pretty clear folk are misjudging just how much hatred there is toward it, the more the industry fucks with our jobs, tech, prices, privacy.

Just beat Metroid Prime 4.
It's a good game. I think the original 3 games are better, but this at least deserves to be on the same shelf as those.
It's still a bummer, though. I was hoping for something earth-shattering, like the first Prime, and this isn't that. 3.5/5.
