Listening back through My Everything but on vinyl is just incredible (except for bang bang - immediate skip)

I really would appreciate what little vision I used to have returning.

Ken is doing a Y2K drag and lucky for him I literally have all the perfect components just on hand.

The iconic Dump Him baby tee.
Juicy rhinestone flare pants.
Multicolor monogram LV bag.
Paired with classic short uggs.

I really never let this era go and I’m so glad I didn’t.

So please, from my skin to yours, DITCH THE MAKEUP WIPES!!! Stop aggressively rubbing that garbage on your face (and potentially causing premature fine lines) and switch to this less irritating, skin friendly alternative that I almost guarantee you’re going to prefer. πŸ’–

Overall 5/5 stars ⭐️
I love the affordability, cute packaging, jumbo size option, availability of variations based on skin concern (tho the og classic pink is perfectly fine), and efficacy. This balm quickly and easily removes even my most stubborn eye makeup in seconds & competes with luxury opts.

Be sure to follow up with a foaming cleanser (I’ve been hooked on the Youth to the People Superfood Cleanser lately). Luckily Banilla also makes a great one under the same Zero line and better yet, it’s only $14.

The foaming cleanser step removes all the bad oil based impurities from your skin.

It’s a creamy balm that melts in your hand and applies to the face and feels like butter (in a good way) and easily lifts up all of your makeup (even waterproof liner) without causing irritation. You’ll then want to splash a bit of water on your face and emulsify this before rinsing w warm water.

This wasn’t my first cleansing balm. It was actually the Farmacy Green Clean one but I couldn’t justify spending $36 for 100ml of product at that age. Then I found this lovely from Banilla Co. at a fraction of the price and it immediately became a holy grail product for me.

For background, I got deep into the Korean skincare game about 6/7 years ago when I wanted effective products that wouldn’t cost me a fortune.
Enter: the double cleanse - oil based cleansing to remove makeup and oil based impurities (like spf) followed by a foaming cleanser to remove the bad oils.

Banilla Co. Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm (25 ml / 100 ml / 180 ml) $8 / $21 / $29.

If you’re going to wear makeup - you need a cleansing balm. Let me introduce you to the OG Korean cleansing balm that changed my life forever.
Which now comes in a bunch of fun variations! (& won’t break the bank)

100/5 stars ⭐️

Satin matte finish, super light, not bad but not good smell (but who tf cares), LONG lasting, worth every freaking penny.

Will follow up next time I get caught in the rain with makeup. πŸ˜‹

I’ve only used this a handful of times and it has already become one of those β€œcan’t live without” products so I’ll be stocking up on those jumbo ones while they’re still in stock, since they’re only available for a limited time (which I hope they reconsider)

16.11.2024 17:46 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Here’s what I will say- after you’ve applied your creams and powdered everything down, go in with a more traditional setting spray like the classic morphe one with the fine mist. Rehydrate those powders and let everything sink into the skin first.
THEN after you’ve dried, lay this aerosol down.

AND when I went in with some tissue to dab away the shine, I got minimal transfer! Normally I can expect 1/4 of my face to dab off on that tissue but not when this stuff is in place!
Was it waterproof- tbd haven’t tested it but saw that it’s more water β€œresistant” than water β€œproof” but I’ll take it

16.11.2024 17:42 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I get really oily but decided to put this to the test and apply it to a beat face that I DIDNT set with powder (except my under eyes) - risky behavior!
And color me impressed- after 10 hours of wear my makeup hardly budged. Did i get oily? A bit of shine yea but not nearly my normal oil slick.

16.11.2024 17:40 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I wouldn’t classify this as a setting spray because it’s not going to rehydrate your powders and melt all your products together into the skin.
It’s more of a finishing spray that you’d apply after to keep your makeup in tact for endless hours, prevent a lot of transfer, and keep things in check.

16.11.2024 17:38 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I’ve been searching for a setting spray that keeps my makeup in tact for all day wear and keeps the oils at bay for legit as long as I’ve been playing with makeup - so ~15 years.
Have I finally found the perfect setting spray? No.
But did I find the perfect FINISHING spray? Yes!

Let me explain.

As a limited holiday special, the jumbo 7.3 oz size was recently dropped and naturally I jumped for it because I’m a Costco kinda girl and love a value. Was it a bit chaotic to dive into the jumbo option having never tried the product? Why, yes. But Ive made riskier financial decisions in my time.

One/Size by Patrick Starr On β€˜Til Dawn Waterproof Setting Spray (1 oz/3.4 oz/ 7.3 oz) $17/$32/$48.

Having went viral after getting the BeyoncΓ© seal of approval, this setting (finishing?) spray FAR exceeded all of my expectations and I’m just so happy to see an influencer make quality product!

Also looks like they launched a new liner pencil that doubles as a shadow for $23. A bit pricey imo but they are a higher price point brand so…? Might have to give this a try down the road since reviews look generally positive.

Overall 1/5 ⭐️ (the one star for the pigment payoff).

HOWEVER- even tho this is a dud for me, Stila makes GORGEOUS liquid eyeshadows that you should definitely look into if you’re looking for a highly concentrated and easy to use formula- especiallyyyyyy their metallics which are actually insane.

16.11.2024 17:14 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

That being said, the color IS super pigmented so if you’re going for a wing or something, you may enjoy this! (Assuming it doesn’t get clumpy on you like it does for me).
As for me, I’m honestly going to stick to my elf or morphe gel liner pens and just work on my application technique.

16.11.2024 17:12 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

When I finally would get an application I was satisfied with, I noticed that it would start to break/crack after as little as 10 minutes, which just looked messy.
And I really gave this a good try because I’ve used it dozens of times just hoping for a better result.

16.11.2024 17:09 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

For starters, I would be able to get this flowing in one spot but then it would fizzle out and straight up not apply in another section. Inconsistent application and overall a bit difficult. Perhaps because of it being on my waterline? Idk. But she just wasn’t that girl.
