Granted, it wasn't like her life was 'normal', though rarely would she say it was fantastical in a good way, which was something books did provide.

Well all things hinted to it being handmade, so it was either one of a kind or the original script for a published novel. It was a coin flip whether or not it could be known by her friend.

Keiko took the hand that was offered, giving a silent nod to the other's question, holding her book close with the other as she waited to be helped up.

Looking at the cover it had no name or author on the front, just a rough sketch of two women embracing, one human and the other some sort of octopus demi-human.

📱 "Well, it is rather amateurish, but I still find it to be an enjoyable read"

It was rather obvious the way she not-so subtly changed the subject, but she appreciated it anyway.

You wouldn't think it at a glance, but Keiko was rather frail, bumping into her was enough to knock her on her butt.

She didn't get up immediately either, a little concerning...

Keiko closed her eyes, making a pained expression as she nodded her head, a few moments later opening them again.

"...Sayori..." There it was, her voice. Rather softly she spoke the others name, following it up with a rather nasty sounding cough...

Once she settled she shook her head, trying not to draw much attention to it.

Her eyes settled on the watch as Sayori messed with it, she could tell that there was something special about it at a glance, but the specifics she was naturally ignorant to.

A slight chuckle left her lips at Sayori's question, seemed at the very least she wasn't truly mute.

Could she not speak? Or was she simply choosing not to for some reason?

You'd think, but she didn't have any sort of gear that would imply a camping trip, just a book and loose satchel on her person.

She cleared her throat, shutting her book as she sat up a bit.

Reaching into her satchel she took out her phone, typing on it.

It seemed she wasn't quite as alone as she'd likely expected to be, up on the mountains a woman was already sat there, simply reading to herself.

It was strange to come so far from town to merely read, so perhaps she was up to something?

Hearing Satori mumble to herself she simply gazed up at her.

Despite what people tend to think when they look at her she actually quite enjoys spending time at the library when she gets the chance.
