By the way, I can FINALLY about this. Two days ago, God blessed me with the opportunity of giving me the studio I’ve always wanted. When I got the call, I got out of bed, put on my best look, and went to see the studio and immediately signed the papers to my brand new loft studio in Downtown ATL 🥹😭

Maybe I actually have to talk/write about my feelings of betrayal from older folks.

Because I got older and I just realized that everyone is still limited in thinking. When age was an indicator of a supposed limitlessness when I was young.

Fighting trans erasure 🏳️‍⚧️ Why don’t we have histories of trans and queer folk? Women? Mixed race people? Black gay men? Where are the stories of intersex people across history?

So, to piggyback on Beyoncé, LEMONADE was a protest for black women & social justice. THE GIFT was a protest for society to understand the ownership of black culture. RENAISSANCE was a protest for the black LGBTQ community. COWBOY CARTER was a protest against American propaganda.

Respect the art. 🖼️

Art is about expressing one’s truth. There are many creatives who use art as a protest to send out their message to the masses. Sometimes, a direct approach to protesting isn’t the only way to make a change in society. Some of us create work because we can’t verbally communicate, so we visualize it.

Wake up America!!
