It started back in 2009 and caught on like wildfire with the Goth community. Not only does it help introduce people to the Goth music subculture, it's also a day for us Goths to celebrate our own being.

Now I'm floating in a vortex of clouds and bats, with a red and white spiral above me. Angela Benedict with a glass of wine is on my right, Dasia Denise (Gothic Soulflower) is on my left and Accumortis is behind me. The World Goth Day logo and scroll below me again, now saying, "#GetYourGothOn, you humans deserve it!"

And finally, we have trad clad me on a rooftop against a night sky with the World Goth Day logo against the moon and the Wishing Star on the top left. Rather late birthday gift for DA user nerdsman567 (didn't have any ideas what to draw for him at the time).

A crossover between my Lauren and his Marilyn Shine. Marilyn agreed to do a "Spi-ritual" with Lauren, trying to contact spirits in a dark place. And it seems they sense a presence among them.

He was simply a human being who wanted to good in the world in spite of his shortcomings, and we should learn from his mistakes if we want to better ourselves.

I'm still calling it Splash Mountain. The new ride is good as it is, it just needs a catchier name.
