My gift to myself this year was the Lego library kit (it was an add on only option from Lego store). BUT, it is nestled together with my drop box & card catalog & fellow Lego librarian. 🤩
P.S. you can buy the drop box and card catalog from: https://buff.ly/4h2qHPv
Finally had the brain space over break to figure out how to post to Insta, Threads, and BlueSky at the same time! (It's Buffer, folks. Which I'm sure many of you know about already. But, in case you didn't. You can post to 3 social accounts at once for FREE!
02.01.2025 16:02 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I wasn't on social media as much in 2024 for many reasons. Life changer for me, because juggling multiple social media accounts was one of the reasons I stopped posting as much - especially after I deleted Twitter.

Wishing you all a joyful start to the New Year!
I want to put positivity & kindness out into the world this year, so 1 of my goals for 2025 is to use my VOICE more to share accurate school library stories to highlight all of the amazing things school librarians do every single day.
The other two Nebraska librarians in the article are ROCKSTARS!

A few months ago a journalism student at UNL reached out to see if she could interview me for an article for her Capstone. Truth is, this article could be about school librarians anywhere, but I am honored to be a part of the story.
I've added BINGO caller to my school librarian resume. A short chat with an admin at the beginning of the year led to the purchase of this inexpensive kit & BINGO sessions held randomly during lunch. It's been pretty fun so far.

November is Aviation History Month. We have an aviation focus program at my school & the teacher loans me old airplane parts to pair with books from our aviation section.
Very creative!
