I didn't plan it but my newest physical media purchases are mother (Jane Birkin) and daughter (Charlotte Gainsbourg). I gave away the Jane box set this week and I had to find one for myself. The dvd is the next Stamp film which I couldn't find online with subtitles. Luckily both were cheap!

He's currently starring in "Oh Mary" by the way with Simu Liu. I still haven't seen the show (I really wanted to see Cole) I should go

the first night I went to see him, it was the late show (he did one at 7 then at 10). He hurt himself during the 7pm show and couldn't go on he fucked up his knee IIRC). So first shows I saw with him he hobbled in a big brace and sat down a lot. But eventually he was back to jumping around.

I imagine it will only get worse with all the regulations this administration has tossed out. NYC was bad in the 70s too. I've watched movies from that time and like, whoa, I can see the air. When Canada was on fire a few years back the air here was yellow and orange. It was like being on mars.

People constantly talk about AIPAC but how much money does the military industrial complex donate to these people?

I wear masks for many things but I have too much of a problem breathing while I'm walking more than a little to add that to it (I have a chest issue which I need surgery for that's making it hard for me to get much oxygen). I've been building up my walking for months and still sound out of breath.

unfortunately my asthma inhaler is making no difference. It would help with pollen but whatever has been in the air this week with the rain is really attacking me. Even with my numerous filters going. "Nitrogen Dioxide" apparently.

Tv shows that were better than the movie.

The bad air has kept me from taking walks all week. I took one Sunday -- ignoring the poor air warning -- and paid the price. It's still bothering me inside so I haven't gone out for more than a bit since. My mental health needs those walks. 😫

Back in Nov I used poor judgment & went to a friend's party at a bar. Surprise surprise, I got sick! (luckily it was short-lived and tests never came up positive). But I did mention how it was a pretty nasty cold and more than one person said "It's because you haven't been exposed in a long time"🙄
