Off the top of my head I would have to say Lycoris Recoil. The combination of spy action thriller and Moe slice of life shouldn't work so well, but it does.

I am grateful for the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure manga, which I started at part 1 and am currently reading part 5. It's a seriously fun time, and I love how unapologetically strange it can be.

What is your favorite Horror anime?

For me I would have to say Takopi's Original Sin. The narrative tackles a lot of heavy subjects, but I honestly felt really seen.

I'm a little upset with myself that I stopped reading Jojo part 5 like 80 chapters in, especially since I just read like 20ish more, and holy fuck is it popping off.

Also, I love Trish's stand. So good.

I am grateful I am in a good enough place in my life to afford my hobbies. My Nintendo switch 2, my manga collection, and my toys to hopefully make a podcast when I have the motivation! I know its a privilege, and I wish others were as fortunate.

I am grateful for the fantastic book series, Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman, with audiobooks narrated by Jeff Hays. Just finished book 4, the gate of the feral gods, and I look forward to starting book 5 tomorrow

What anime made you feel the most seen?

For me, I would have to say that Takopi's Original Sin narrowly beat out A Silent Voice to answer this question. The struggles of all the Shizuka, Azuma, and Marina were all very relateable for me.

The introduction of Leon's brother, Chris, added some much needed depth to the character of Leon and, to a lesser extent, the Count, who didn't need it at all. Now I just need to wait on volumes 7-10 from the library!
