Saint Mungo is strongly associated with robins due to a legend where he miraculously brought a dead robin back to life. This story is a part of the four legends on the coat of arms of Glasgow, a city he founded, making him a patron saint of Glasgow.

What fascinates me about floral macros? It’s the gradations of color,the details in the gestalt of nature ‘s textures,the intricate ruffling of petals & leaves,& most of all,the magical revelations of the previously unseen.

Das Karussell hat eine große runde Dachkonstruktion, die oben reich verziert ist – mit goldenen Ornamenten und gemalten Bildern, die an alte Gemälde erinnern. Unter dem Dach hängen viele leere Ketten mit kleinen Sitzen daran – sie sind alle still, das Karussell steht gerade still. Die Beleuchtung ist sehr auffällig: Das Karussell ist in kräftigen Farben angestrahlt, die ineinander übergehen – von Violett und Blau über Grün bis zu Gelb. Unten, an der Basis des Karussells, leuchten ebenfalls viele kleine Lichter in einem leuchtenden Violettton. Insgesamt wirkt die Szene sehr stimmungsvoll und etwas magisch – wie ein stiller Moment auf einem Jahrmarkt, nachdem die Besucher gegangen sind, aber die Lichter noch brennen.
