I remember the experience of rushing to the beagle as soon as we were allowed to, and having to cram into their makeshift car park beer garden, to enjoy a pint with our 'substantial meal'

Its nice to have such a cosy pub just down the road.

This was heavily inspired by an image I saw on Pinterest. Unfortunately there is no artists name on there

A photo of a 2 page spread in a sketchbook, there are multiple squares and triangles arranged in a grid over the two pages, where each shape is filled in with messy spirals that follow the contour of the shape. The space between these shapes has been filled in black.

Trying to get back into art and being creative after not doing it for so long is a terrifying process. I'm trying to combat that by drawing simple things, where there's no such thing as a mistake.

Featured here is an mixed media illustration commentary of a city being flushed down a toilet. It was part of an College assignment for an Illustration class where we had to pick a current political topic to write about and illustrate. My topic was about how the run off from city sewage was having a negative impact on the Chesapeake Bay.

This mixed media painting on bristol board is from my college illustration class, created for an environmental political article layout assignment. It feels surprisingly relevant today - 3 decades later....

A gouache painting of a human skull in 3 quarter view. The shadows are muted blue, midtones pink, highlights orange and yellow. The skull is painted in a blocky and loose style with not much detail. The painting is unfinished.

I want to start posting whatever art I make here. I was using some other apps, but for hopefully obvious reasons I hope to abandon them in favour of posting here. I hope you enjoy my hodge podge assortment of paintings and doodles.

I always love going to the Albion. Its comfy, spacious, good selection of beers and other drinks alike.

First exhibition of the year opens next month at Nahcotta in Portsmouth, New Hampshire! This is one of my faves.
