most recent example: the pound puppies Christmas special from the 80's where the bad guy after kicking the titular puppies from their home, dreams about dog tf once and immediately finds the canine way.

case in point when they straight up point a gun at Beethoven and they don't immediately execute the bad guys at the end. at least cujo got it right sometimes.

the villains in dog movies are always the most psychotic people ever. "I hope those puppies rot in hell" is too common a phrase they say to something that looks like this goofy boy 🐻‍❄️

6. While rather unlikely, one of my favorite things I learned was about the possibility of the dodo performing the lek! Here is a video of the sage grouse in this ritual! I would love to host a dance that is just one big lek party-

The dodo's neck structure, flexibility and use in mating. While an exact idea of how the dodo would use it's neck in courtship is unknown, the neck vertebrae are very flexibile and may help paint a picture of such a dance. (The Morphology of the Thirioux dodos, Classens, 2015).

5 - Behold! The neck of the dodo, under its plumage. Like a chicken - it could move its neck in a seductively muppet-like manor for mating dances, flexibility to food, and paint the image of their courtships. Imagine the sort of helicopter a dodo could make!

4. My closest cousin would be a Nicobar Pigeon! They're beautiful birds, they're closely related to most other pigeons. We also have another extinct cousin in the Rodrigues Pigeon, who come from the same birds that decided to land on an island 400 miles east! They survived a little longer than us.

3.5 - From an estimated maximum of "10,000–
12,000 pairs (plus offspring)" (Parish, "The Dodo and the Solitare") per mating season for perhaps generations growing upon itself to nothing in the time Barbie has grown to sell over a billion dolls. And yet, Barbie refuses to make a dodo... for shame.

3. Our earliest account of the dodo starts in 1598, and our last sighting is around 1662. The period in which we knew and saw this bird was the same period between now. It's been 64 years - as long as it as has taken Barbie to become the empire it is today.

2. The most accurate painting of a dodo that we have comes from a Suvat palace in between 1628-1633 from the count artist Ustad Mansur. We say this based on the accuracy in which the birds around the dodo were painted, (besides the bar-headed goose (bottom left), who is a little off.)

Yo! I'm Orion, I'm a dodo! I really think they're pretty neat! I'm coming in with some sick dodo facts from a paper I did in community college! Starting with the opening quote from a book that made me cry, "The Song of the Dodo" by David Quammen.
