It has made me realise how capitalism dictates all that is popularly consumed in music, cinema, theatre, galleries and of course literature.

There's a lot of people who are cynical about self publishing but I think it’s better to have a book available to read and not sell than to have it unavailable to the world because of publishing snobbery.

Another rejection came through from a publisher.

In a way its a good thing because at least they responded and didn't leave me hoping, though it did take three months to reply.

If you read up on the Mother and Baby Homes, this is the psychiatric services equivalent ....
