An for people like myself who have for example Bipolar and cycle…content creation is ridiculous tough. Like I did stream but the streams would vary heavily based on where in my rapid cycle I was like when I would stream manic…boy was I difficult to understand sometimes and depressed me…ugh

Artist have been relegated to content creators, like most of what we are expected to do as artist isn’t even art! What do you mean I have to post 5 days a week at the same time to get anything seen but then it also has to be video content that I have to produce with the proper music tread and etc

You have to sell yourself in addition to whatever you make, you become the product more than your art does…and for me I just wanna make things I love…I personally don’t want to be the brand or the product…I just wanna make pretty things that make people smile.

Making artist is not enough, you have to also make content whether that is via YouTube, TikTok or Insta…there is an expectation that content needs to happen…like it isn’t about what you make it the final product much anymore it is about watching you make it and you becoming a brand.

I have seen a lot about art today…an as an artist who has been in the AA game for 12+ years I seen the shift in real time from people coming to buy art to people coming to look for content creators. I get asked so many times do you have a YouTube or etc..the moment I say no…they leave.
