A human artist only takes up as much electricity and water as any single human.
This is why, even if we settle copyrights and such, AI will always be immoral. Just pay a human.
I think it’s a pride thing. Zeus wants everyone to know that He has a Treat.

When you give Zeus a Busy Bone, he has to walk around the house with it for a while, like a little man smoking a cigar.

Update:
I burned the first batch and filled the house with eye-watering pickle-cheese cracker smoke.
But then I got it right. Delicious.
Ah, cozy death!

Me today: “I’mma brine this chicken in pickle juice and bread it with crushed Cheezits and make cheesy pickle chicken nuggies”
Thanks! My process was “no thoughts, only blob” 🤣

Something a little different… I needed to chill out and loosen up my painting, so I just scribbled a study of these colored glass bottles while binging Supernatural with the husband last night.

Uhh pls comment on artists/writers posts even if to you it doesn’t seem important to you
We really appreciate it and it means the world when someone actually does say they like it
It gives us confidence to continue creating btw
Yeah thanks
The platform is less shopper-friendly to navigate, but a lot of artists I follow have been switching to Ko-Fi.

15.11.2025 02:05 — 👍 11 🔁 2 💬 1 📌 0We were all dumb college kids who didn’t know what we’d be doing in 6 months’ time. We didn’t need to own a house. Those landlords gave us the flexibility we needed when careers or life circumstances changed suddenly (like when I moved to Seattle to marry an idiot). But also a home, in the meantime.
14.11.2025 21:27 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0They sent us fruit baskets, bottles of wine, and even ~an entire Thanksgiving dinner~ once. They treated us like family, even though housemates were in and out. You’d best bet we took the best care of the place we could, and rent was never a day late.
14.11.2025 21:27 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I had one in college. An older couple. They rented an excellent, fully-furnished house in a safe neighborhood for cheaper than some crummy apartments. They included utilities, because it was “easier.” When we got a flea infestation, they arranged and paid for treatment.

Anyway, can’t share what I’m working on now, so here’s some old art: a commission of a pet axolotl as a water dragon.
I used to exclusively do weird/fantasy pet portraits and refuse “normal” ones.
I liked the way alternate timelines were handled in Some Desperate Glory. I don’t always love the trope.
