Problem the “no Kings” movement faces is that the USA has surrounded its president with the imperial trappings for two centuries. Look at the Praetorian Guard at attention all the way down the hallway. In most democracies anyone affecting this silliness would be laughed out of office.

You know, I don’t mind the dark morning, but I love the long evenings. We live 5 miles east of Saskatoon now. And I still marvel how it’s never completely dark in the north at the end of June.

Saskatchewan is permanently on CST. It is mostly located in the mountain zone. It is accordingly on permanent DST. I live there, I know.

I’ve lived with it my whole life, and it’s not an issue.
