Late to the party but Strange Darling really worked for me. It isn’t a deluge but there has been a steady trickle of fantastic exploitation throwbacks (Green Room stands out for me) coming out for a while and it is heartening to know there are those who still champion the ugly side of cinema.

Insane poster for Satanic nunsploitation flick Satanico Pandemonium. A perfect pairing with Alucarda when it comes to transgressive horror. Yes, Selma Hayek’s character in From Dusk Till Dawn is named after this movie #satanicopanedemonium #fromdusktilldawn #alucarda

And the streets of Philadelphia ran chunky with rivers of vomit and victory.

It’s good stuff. Very much an homage to both Lovecraftian ideas and his prose.
