Wrote a whole scene on Friday. Sat down to write on Saturday, couldn't write a single new word, and haven't since.
Finally feeling better today, actually left the house and that helped too. Still a bit lethargic but fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Worst thing about having a cold (idk didn't do any tests) is that kinda dull, muffled feeling in your brain. You're just not present enough to do anything creative or pay proper attention to anything fun, so those days waste away, and when you're finally starting to feel better, back to work you go.

Ugh only just got home and already feeling sick 😷

Finally watched K-Pop Demon Hunters, really fun magical girl movie with kinda hit-and-miss gags. But I don't understand why all the boy band guys look like lesbians???

Increasingly frantic git commit messages, including highlights like "It's something", "😞", "Woooo let's go", "Bart Simpson blackboard meme: I will respect that this chapter is labeled 'Final Draft' and not edit it futher", and most recently, "AAAAAAaaaaaahhhh"

Programmers: Always write descriptive git commit messages, otherwise they're useless.
Me just committing as a more versioned backup of my scrivener project:

First draft done, and chapter three is longer than chapters one and two combined 🙈 But it is done, finally! So happy!

7k words now and the chapter's not done 🫠 But I'm finally making real progress again.

Lately whenever my email app says “downloading 1 message”, I get super exciting thinking it might be a new chapter notification from any of a dozen fanfics I’m subscribed to.

It usually isn’t, but it sometimes is, and that’s how you get addicted.

Turns out press-ons are a fraction of the price in the Netherlands, even at the airport. Why tf are they 4x as expensive in Germany???

Lost a nail at bag inspection. Thought no big deal, I’ve got nail glue with me, I’ll just glue it back on in the waiting area when I’ve got time.

Turns out I lost two more on the way to the airport and didn’t even notice 🥲

Wrote 900 words over the weekend even though I was busy and didn't expect to write any 😊
Wrote none since even though I had time 😞

Taking two days off and my entire weekend for a distant cousin’s wedding in the beautiful Austrian countryside: awesome, lovely, anytime.

Spending a total of ~6h in the car with my parents for the roundtrip: please just fucking kill me, I’m gonna need a vacation after this

Just read my first m/m fic (because it’s the prologue to a Toga/Uraraka fic 😅) and it wasn’t weird? I mean, I’m a massive Bakugo fan so that might explain it.

Interaction with a stranger with scene description: tubleweed blowing through an empty town

Turns out I'm a bit awkward at making up streets and shops and writing interactions with no-name one-off characters 🫠

Also me, last chapter: They're gonna go shopping! 🤦🏻‍♀️

"Slightly saner" is absolutely not the correct or polite way to phrase this, but I was running out of characters and sane's a short word 🙃

"Himiko Toga is a fictional character, what's she gonna do, stab me?"—my last words, maybe 🔪👀

Sometimes when I’m feeling a bit down, I re-read my favourite, cutest #sapphic romance scenes. Tonight: Truth and Measure ch. 36, 37’s last scene, 38-40.
I just absolutely adore the whole “Look, I’m not gay, but I love you?? Romantically. Ikr I don’t get it either but please go out with me” bit 😍😍
