It being ugly has nothing to do with IP law or artistic consent, it’s just your graphic designer had access to 500,000 photos of a formula e car and chose to instead use worse tech, so I (the fan) am gonna make fun of your poster cause it’s distorted and the side mirror is attatched to the tire.

I do this mostly for racing teams/series, anyone involved in racing media has access to to tens of thousands of high quality photos taken on track, so when they use ai portrayals of their cars it litterally spits on their own engineering skill and makes the whole fan product worse for no reason.

Something I do when companies I like use ai is I just point out flaws in their finished product directly, skipping over blaming anyone for using any particular product and just directly pointing out how the use of generative tech made their final product worse.

Sirius is another really easy one to spot since it’s really bright white and twinkly! I love pointing out Sirius to non star people cause it’s so close to us, only 8.6 light years. it’s also a pair with a white dwarf, Sirius b is the closest known white dwarf to earth.

Crack it, toys are meant to be played with. Also I’ve had three booster boxes in my life and they’ve all three paid for themselves and then some with the cards inside. I recommend doing one or two a day if you can restrain yourself.

Being a partial suiter is cool and I still love both my current suits with all my heart but a fullsuit is a whole different thing, it would be amazing to have a suit so beautiful that non-furries are drawn to interact with it like a mascot, I’ve witnessed that a few times and it’s awesome

The way I teach it is you should practice exactly as much as you want to, if that’s an hour a day great, if it’s 90 seconds at a time in between stuff also great. don’t chain yourself to your stand or beat yourself up for not doing “enough”, A lot of musicians suck at finding that balance.

And besides, what’s the alternative? Scrolling bluesky or gear YouTube or twitch or god forbid just regular TV and watching everybody else have fun? Yeah sure it’s easier but it’s also a whole lot less fun than going and doing it yourself. Just go do it.

So go out there and try that new thing, make that leap to new software, try the LMP2 with no ABS and crash it two dozen times until you figure it out, it’s litterally the only way to get better.

I personally try to fight this by having as little loyalty to any particular brand or software or racecar make or instrument as I can get away with. Getting comfortable with using a wide variety of different tools and getting good at learning new tools fast is a critically important skill imo

The mistake that companies like adobe make is thinking that there is ever an end to the pursuit of perfection. perfect is a constantly moving target and it’s litterally impossible to hit; that’s why you can’t ever stop trying if you ever want to get close

But the disastrous thing for them is they got so bloated and lazy and greedy that their giant software suite that should have taken over the world is no longer working in the way that the very creatives that are their customer base want. As a result, we see people building and using alternatives

The problem is that a lot of people figured out complex ways to hijack this innate drive for improvement for their own personal gain. Take Adobe (co my last repost) for example, they have an awesome suite of software that does just about every creative function a modern computer is capable of…

This does happen sometimes, if the sap bunches in the wrong way you can sometimes get pee that sorta sits in the seat and doesent get absorbed by the sap, and yeah if you move wrong you can leak from it. pee in different positions to wet different parts, and maybe try a size up next restock.

I’m still convincing myself that I’m good at this, not sure I’m not irreparably breaking these kids brains but they consistently sound better so I must be doing something right.

I’m starting to figure out how to teach people the way I understand and use music as opposed to the way it’s traditionally explained and it’s starting to like actually work. It’s exhilarating and validating.
