Yeah, EC1 is rather strong. What about a promoter in the male side? E.g. GEX2 promoter? You can also have a look to our evorepro database to check expression level and specificity of genes in several tissues and species evorepro.sbs.ntu.edu.sg

Petal size and shape is generally determined by a period of cell proliferation followed by cell growth. Extending the period of proliferation results in much larger petals without compromising shape.

The robustness of plant development is admirable.
