I have number of new friends that are Ukrainian refugees living in my neighborhood. My house is hard to miss with the Ukrainian Trident flags. When possible I would also like to make a trip to the Balkans and a trip to Ukraine

We have a gold version of the flowers you were holding. We call them golden poppies (Eschscholzia californica) in California. Red poppies (Papaver rhoeas) are the seeds I planted with the California poppies. It should be beautiful when they both bloom!

I recently added red poppy seeds to my usual California poppies and I'm anxious to see both in full bloom next spring! I'm also hoping to see your beautiful Ukraine red poppies before that! Take care.
