Does anyone know how to fix this issue i'm having with ms paint?

It was working fine a few days ago but now I can't draw lines, and I know I've selected a proper tool and also the color black so I know i'm not drawing white-on-white, I'm so confused?

It's really nice having it inside of a program for art rather than pixels so you can mix this capability with things like layer modes and typical art tools it's sooo nice
