February: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team
7/10 This game was cute. I loved trying my best for my partner and collecting little friends! Post-game content is likely not happening for me, but it was good. Kinda laggy, but fun tunes, cute friends, and a decent plot.

January: Fire Emblem Path of Radiance
9/10 I tell you what, they just don't make Fire Emblem like they used to. The roster was incredible, and I cared about the plot literally the entire time. I know there's a sequel, but I don't like loose ends not being tied. Still, big fan!

December: Mario Galaxy 2
8.5/10 I've been needing to play this for SO LONG and I'm glad I finally could. As sequels tend to do, the story wasn't as good and it was way easier than the first game, but still an absolute delight. The music is incredible and Yoshi was a great add.

Say what you want about the game awards, but Mario Kart World not winning best music and score is reason enough to call it all a sham.

November: Age of Imprisonment
7.5/10 I was really expecting more from the plot, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. 2-player game chat feature was great, lots of really cool characters that were fun to play, and post-game content was a nice surprise.

October: Hollow Knight Silksong
9/10 I enjoyed this game SO MUCH MORE than its predecessor. Hornet was such a likable protagonist, the levels were all so creative, and the music was great. Very difficult and unfair at times, but overall, an incredible platformer! I liked it a lot.

I played it on GameCube NSO! I had seen and was familiar with much of the beginning of the game, but none of the middle or end. It wasn't BAD per se, just not for me.

August (again): Paranormasight, The Seven Mysteries of Honjo
8/10 This game was CRAAAAZYY. I didn't know who the bad guy was for literally the entire game, iykyk. Scary, deeply unsettling, but captivating - I couldn't look away. If you like suspense/mystery, play this!

August: Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker
6/10 I KNOW, BUT I DID IT NOW, OKAY?! One of the weakest entries in the series for me. Plot issues, lazy dungeon design, sea exploration was such a drag... It had a few high points, but not enough to counter all the bad, honestly.

Told my coworker I have a little schoolgirl crush on Gavin Newsom and she sent me this in the mail 😂 Lol!

9/10 FINALLY played this game at my big age 😂 I understand the hype. Checked all the right boxes with only a few grievances. The music, the characters, the concept? Wow. Whatever Square Enix was doing in the 90s, bring that back.

10/10 This is easily one of the best games I've ever played. Phenomenal characters, plot, music - truly the whole package. I'll be thinking about this one for a very long time. Highly recommend!
