Sims 3 is incredible. It's open world, awarding exploration and creative thinking. Endless customization.
Sims 4 just takes all of that and removes it, but you can pay EA $15 for a chair that is kind of more blue than the base game one. Bored in under an hour.
Sims 1 aged very well. It's hard, but in a "rise to the challenge" kind of way. In 2025, I'm still finding it hard to pull myself away.
Sims 2 very similar, very fun, but you need to manufacture your own difficulty. Excels in allowing the most insane scenarios.
