Random fish

Originally I wanted this fish to be the first shot of the #anime series, but the more I think about it, the more I move away from that idea. Sure there's a bit of foreshadowing but mehhh

Either way, here's a random fish that may or may not come to life

Personal opinion, yes almost all stories have been told one way or another, but the lens of the teller has always made it unique every single time.

Watching movies as part of research is both good and bad. It's interesting to be honest, the different camera angles and expressions.

I'm also in the middle of making the character profile, aka their personality, background, their wants, needs, purposes, etc.

I also made a pool of outfits for each character group, and I am now in the middle of choosing the character "wardrobe:

Aka 3-4 outfits for each character depending on their storyline.

By physical features I mean: eye color, hair color, hair type/ style, face shape.

- I'm postponing working on the body types for now. My perception at this point is that it might be relatively easier than deciding on the face.

I also have vague idea about the body of certain characters.

This is what my preproduction phase looks like so far: at this stage I only have the premise, aka the story.

• Made a list of all the characters.

• Decided on their physical features( I didn't have all of it described in the book to leave room for imagination).

• Yes it was both fun and weird.

I always thought that storyboards have to be perfect before moving on to the animation process, turns out it's a bit flexible. What is messed up in one stage can be fixed in the coming one
