"Who's the lucky person?" panel 8: Avid, with a cluster of flowers in his hand, kneeling and reaching to pick more flowers. "Huh?" he says, looking back. panel 9: Drift in her regency era suit holding her tophat to her head as she leans forwards, smiling at him. Avid looks confused. panel 10: Almost the same panel, but avid frowns and says "Lucky person? What do you mean?"

Panel 1: Drift straightens up a little, and just smiles at him expectantly. Panel 2: Avid frowns, visibly confused Panel 3: Present-Drift smiles Panel 4: Past-Drift huffs a laugh Panel 5: "The flowers, man, who are they for?" Drift elaborates. Panel 6: Avid looks down at the flowers, "Oh, er," Panel 7: Looks back at Drift, "Me, mostly. But I mean, you as well if you need them, really anyone in Oakhurst—" Panel 8: he cuts himself off abruptly and his eyes go wide Panel 9: then his face sours into a scowl, "E-except Scott!!" Panel 10: He turns his face away with a pout, "Not that he's going to need them as a vampire, anyway."

Panel 1: Drift lifts a hand to her chin and frowns, "You're picking flowers for everyone except Scott?" Panel 2: Drift appears to have some kind of a thought Panel 3: Present-day Drift snorts to herself Panel 4: Avid looks back up at Drift, "Oh, no no, I'm not really picking the flowers. I'm after the leaves." Panel 5: Drift looks at him in surprise, "The leaves?" Panel 6: Avid gets to his feet, "Yes, this is yarrow." Panel 7 & 8: The dialogue overlaps over both of these panels continuously. Avid hands Drift a leaf, who takes it in her hand and looks at it puzzled. "Well, I mean the flowers are alright, I'm not planning to discard them or anything. I can still use them, they're not that dissimilar to chamomile—but the leaves are an astringent." Panel 9: Avid awkwardly scratches at his neck bandages, "They, uh. If you crush them you can use them to stop wounds bleeding." Panel 10: Present-Drift turns her face away into the shadows Panel 11: Past drift exclaims "Woah, thats so cool!"
