i’ve noticed that people are getting considerably worse at spelling these past few years, especially with homophones.

the reason, as far as i’m convinced? auto-captions in online video. these algorithms are really bad at determining spelling from both audio and context

a boulder of upper-cenozoic limestone from central florida. there seems to be two distinct layers; a bioturbated layer on top and a bedded layer below

found this at a park yesterday. i’ve only found vertebrate fossils a couple times before, and never 100% on my own, or even within rock. til now?

am i misidentifying some kind of limestone breccia or something or do y’all think these are bones? help pls i’m kinda bad at this (more info in alt text)
