It was 2003, I think - a Renault that had been converted by the owner in Montreal.

I got to talk about space whales with @chadkirchner.com and @drandrewthaler.bsky.social on this episode of the Star Trek podcast Temporal Investigations. It was a blast!

Benjamin’s Friday Link Round-Up #12 Last week’s travel means a backlog of cool stories to go through today. Here’s an extended look at what’s caught my eye on the web over the past little while. How far back in time…

Still working to build a way to share cool web stories outside the context of social media with my latest Friday Link Round-Up.

It's definitely important, and it's why I make sure to regularly update my on-going negative experience with Scout Comics so that other creators don't make the mistake of getting into business with them, too.

A digital illustration in a colored pencil style. A drawing of a Polaroid SX-70, a foldable instant camera that some would say is one of the best cameras ever in history. It is silver and black with patches of brown fake leather on some of the body panels. It is unfolded into its characteristic mass of unlikely angles. The camera is set against a background rectangle filled with the colors filled with the colors of the Polaroid packaging rainbow. A photo is protruding from the camera and has developed to reveal only white letters on black reading β€˜Maybe it’ll happen today’.

Sony also made a Blu-ray remote control for the ps3, you can get it for around 20 to 30 bucks on ebay. It's what I use.

PS3 is a much better Blu-ray player than the ps4, and a lot cheaper to buy. It's what I use for my blu-rays.

I couldn't afford CDs - maybe a handful? I was still making mix tapes until CDR became a thing in the late-90s.

I buy a lot of tapes today because one of my vehicles has a tape deck, but I have no nostalgia for the format. Vinyl, on the other hand...
