The Gorgon Protomech is an 8-ton support unit mainly designed to offer indirect fire at range. This one is Wolk’s sculpt, printed and painted for 28mm scale. Security detail is from Papsikels. Buildings in the background are my own design.

This ones a weird generalist of a medium clan omnimech. i alway look up loadouts when painting to identify what everything on the model is and this one surprised me: UAC/2, LRM10+arti, ER medium lasers, AMS, TAG, a flamer, and an active probe.

Mecha SKetch "what if a Battletech Caesar was an Ugly from the Post-Dolza era South American Zentraedi Resistance, during the Malcontent Uprising era"? The body of a legless Regult Tactical Scout would be mated to the legs of a Glaug Officer's Pod that managed to eat a 40cm shell from a MAC II Monster's Vigger's cannon. The heavier legs left the Pod too ungainly to use it's shoulder mounted Thrust Nozzles, so the arms from a salvaged enemy Veritech fighter would be mounted where the thrusters once were, giving the machine the ability to engage in melee combat, pick up items, or, use hand held weapons. While it carried the full sensor suite of the Scout Pod, it's role would be a command machine for a unit of Regults and other mech. As such, unlike the Tactical Scout, this would need to be armed. It's primary weapon would be the 128mm Long Range Particle Cannon normally mounted dorsally on a Glaug. The barrel would be shortened to make it less prone to get caught on trees in the jungle, and the inferior reactor of the Regult could only power the gun for 20 shots before needing an hour or so to recharge. to cover for this, in the right arm, they kept the 55mm GU-11 Gun Pod from the Veritech, while mounting the LLW-20 CIWS lasers originally found on the VF-1J's head, one per forearm. Lastly a rear mounted double barrel Light Air Defense Laser from a std Regult would cover the machine's six. The GU-11 is usually restricted to the single 750 rd magazine in it's stock, but could carry spare mags in an external bandolier, if necessary. This was seldom done as the most fights were hit and run, and the bandoliers tended to also get caught in tress and underbrush. This machine would be piloted by a Zentaedi named Cazor, whom the locals would nickname "Cesar". Cesar was not present for Khyron and Azonia's suicidal attack on the SDF-1 and his Frankenstein machine was seen in several guerilla actions against the Invid invaders, working with Nova Satori's forces.

Reverse Unseen Caesar

A ways back, I did a few "reverse Unseen" Ideas, like "What if the Battletech Awesome Battlemech was a Combat Armor in Fang of the Sun Dougram". This time it's "Return to Macross Island" time.
