Had a job interview scheduled on Zoom today. Attorney I was supposed to interview with canceled it five minutes before it was supposed to start, saying there was a scheduling conflict, need to reschedule.
Who does that? Man, in 11 years of work as a paralegal I never once did that. Not once. Arg!

Very well! Nevada is a wonderful state! It's nice being so close to family again, laws are less and things are drastically less expensive. People are nicer too!

Both kinda. Moved to a different state to be closer to family. Wife already has an amazing job, so I'm keeping myself busy while I look for work. Hoping something good comes along soon, just hitting it hard getting the apps out. Paralegal work pays good if you can find a good opening, haha.

Not this time, unfortunately. Last time I was out, my wife and I found some chunks of druzy quartz, but I didn't see any this time. I'll go further afield next time. :)

Instead of spending my whole afternoon filling out job applications and sending resumes, I decided to take a little break and go hiking, looking for cool rocks. Found this picturesque golf ball instead.

Another fun experiment in repainting David Winter pieces for TTRPG use. Redid the roof with Army Painter Battlefield Grass and some basing clumps, then gave it stain glass windows.

I think so! I love the idea of running a TTRPG campaign where the heroes have a village physically represented that they can get invested in.
